When many people think of golf’s U.S. Open, they think of Pebble Beach Golf Links. The course has become a scenic backdrop for some of the tournament’s more memorable moments.

Memories of famous Pebble Beach moments have been preserved in autographed golf photographs and autographed pin flags.

This year may be the most anticipated U.S. Open in years due to its incoming circumstances. There is Phil Mickelson heading into the tournament as a favorite while Tiger Woods is still awaiting his own return to dominance.

Tiger is the owner of one of the aforementioned “Pebble Beach moments” from when he completed a historic 15-stroke victory at the 2000 U.S. Open. Mickelson has never won a U.S. Open, but could be half way to a major grand slam with a victory.

This is a tournament that is world-renowned for its difficulty, so every shot is vital and could determine what will become valuable golf memorabilia and what will not.
